My opinion is words are okay if they aren’t used in a harmful way and if we use them in a non harmful way more, they wouldn’t even be harmful anymore.

I agree with a lot of what Katokabi is saying. Words don't have power unless you give them power. Also telling someone to "fucking die" is really too much. Even if they are a minority or not you don't know what they go through and for all you know someone's words on the internet can push them to actually fucking die. I'm a minority myself (in the race department) and I have two sisters apart of the alphabet mafia and we all don't care about the words people say to us or about us. Just don't give people the power to hurt you with their words. Only way someone can hurt you is if you've trusted them and have given them power to do so and I personally know how it feels to be assaulted may it have been verbally,physically,
..mentally, and emotionally by someone I thought I can trust and who I've known literally my whole life. Honestly recently people can be soft about a lot of things and letting people's words have power is also apart of it.

And the other thing is, the r-slur isnt a word with only one meaning. It can be used in different contexts. But if it’s used as an insult it’s a slur.
