tit for tat

listening to can you feel my heart made this chapter so much more intense. i feel oddly satisfied with their reactions to her unfortunate death, their last memories and past memories will not be happy they'll be mixed with sadness and grief for not warming up to her at all. she was still a kid when the marquis died and they took their anger out on her. my heart twisted in pain seeing their reactions I admit but that just goes to show how impactful the story is.

i also love ohara's reaction because she has to live ( in the past timeline ) with the constant guilt that if she had let shuli come to the wedding her death could have been delayed, I say delayed because we should all know the church wouldn't give up the opportunity to kill shuli.

i hope that the knight who let her go isn't tried for a crime he didn't commit, the only crime he's guilty of is not trying to convince her more to stay, also really hope they find out that wide-eyed idiot that follows that paedophilic under bags guy around was apart of it.

i honestly cannot fathom why anyone in the church would think taking a person's life, an innocent's person's life is okay but then again the church was always shady so am I surprised? no. but am I disappointed? yes.
