From what I gather it seems you shipped a noncanon couple. That by itself is not wrong, but you must always remember balance. Despite it being fiction, “shipping” can be taken to an unhealthy level and I understand why your friend was uncomfortable. Honestly I get uncomfortable when people ship underage people for obvious reasons. I think you need to reevaluate your relationship with queer couples because you sound like the path you are on may lead to a fetish/obsession with gay men. Remember to separate fiction from reality. BL is never how actual relationships are
