Even though Seth acts like he’s accepted and moved on from his rape it doesn’t seem that way at all. You can see that from when Horus was brainwashed to rape him too. Poor man legit froze up and remembered his past. I just wished he’d allow himself to see that good in life. After being wronged like that from his wife and brother I understand his character a bit better. He’s upset with the world more than anything but overall he’s clearly disappointed with himself. He’s so out of it from what happened that he tore himself into two as a coping mechanism. Even though people may disagree he’s also such a caring person when it comes to Anubis and Horus. He chose to consider Anubis his own flesh and blood even after finding out the truth. As for Horus even after the forced rape and even though he keeps reminding Horus of that deed he’s practically forgiven him and continues to treat him as a person in his own way. As for Isis I think even if he won’t say it directly he was hurt. She watched him go through that and chose to place all guilt on his head even though she excuses her actions as if she’s punishing both brothers for what happened. She’s clearly very much obsessed and in love with her husband still but she spared Anubis from her hatred simply because she felt so connected to him cause she raised him like her own. As much as I understand Seth and all his emotions and actions I don’t at all get Isis especially after the scene where she tells Seth she knew everything. Like?! Who are you fucking avenging going after Seth like you haven’t already continued to love your cheating and rapist husband. Like Ms. Girl?!! And even though she has love for Horus she isn’t afraid of using him and exploiting him to one up Seth. She doesn’t even let her son tell her he doesn’t want what she wants for him. On the other hand Seth wants Anubis to do whatever he wants. He wants him to have choices and in a sense he’s making so many paths for Anubis to take. I don’t quite understand if Seth wants something from life anymore as it is. He seems a bit like he knows he’s missing a piece to himself. I can’t wait to read more
I read it thanks to u for that :) I understand her a little better but even though I understand her I can’t bring myself to like her. I don’t know I just feel like if I were in her situation I would’ve reacted differently.
