this is a waste of good art lol. typical of trash mangas to make the uke be treated like shit for being right and then forced to apologize. This shit head of a seme deserves no apology but turns out he even knew beforehand that the other was feeling sorry and was being a bitch for no reason. Dropped this trash, too bad for the rare long hair design. that's literally the only positive thing I can find about this disgusting story

Here’s my issue! Just because you don’t like drama or angst in a story doesn’t make it “trash” or a “waste”. period. I have no qualms about expressing why you didn’t enjoy the story thus far but it’s not a bad story just because you didn’t understand or like it. Not every story goes the way it’s supposed to irl tis why it’s so a fictional piece and fucked up things happen irl! Not saying they’re ok but life’s not fair. And uke wasn’t forced to apologize, he did that on his own and the seme was avoiding him so that he wouldn’t apologize, he knows he doesn’t deserve one! Not convincing you to keep reading if you don’t want to but just thought it was a little rude to claim the story was “trash”! At least drop a “IMO” in there before you say stuff like that!

Nope! I like drama and twisted stories. AS LONG as that's what the story is going for. If you write basically a criminal then make his victim apologize to him out of...pure guilt and frame the story as if he's been wronged, it's not angst you're writing. You're just bad at writing the fluff you apparently wanted. Realize for two seconds how this seme exploits his position of power to get sexual favors from the uke, harasses him and tries to push him over the edge out of one sided hate. And the never pays for it. Then think about the uke who finds this dude who torments him andyet he's never really made to express how he feels about that, instead he gradually just starts liking him as if this was a normal story. Then the whole drug thing happens, uke is justifiably mad about the seme fucking him when he was out of it, and he actually PAYS for it by having the seme be worse and still having to apologize.
Dude there's a clear tonal issue here. This is not a dark story where a poor soul is caught by some creep, they're trying to make fluff out of just bad written tension. And the story thinks there's no need to fix the seme's disgusting behavior before trying to frame him as ''as kind as his father''. They literally have the uke say ''you should KNOW not to listen to drugged people'' then remembers actually saying and magically his statament has no weight anymore, and ''he was helping me!!!!!!!!'' No? No. If you want to cover this shit up by calling the story twisted ask yourself why this basically all seme's POV so you can't see the distress he should be causing to the uke and it switches after the he unexplainably falls for him, so he can gush about how kind and toughtful he is!
You've never read a twisted story if you think this what it is lmao

Bruh ok so I had the same thoughts as you when I was going into this and I kept thinking “this is textbook abuse” and “why would anyone like this” but as the story goes on, you already see character development and how Jaeho points out that Liu wasn’t fair towards him to begin with, and how he sprung upon this random dude and told him he needed to do this thing and take on a whole new life and responsibilities and he had no choice since his mother already used the money plus she DIED from this whole thing, so mans not in a good state to begin with. Then the guy who presents all of this starts insulting his mother and his whole life in one go and has no respect for his opinion on all of this. Is it an excuse to abuse someone? Of course not. But that’s the thing tho....they’re both fucked up and traumatized in their own ways and it’s a battle to see who can take out the most frustration/ trauma fueled hate that they can and blame each other for things they experienced in their lives. That’s also why it shows Jaeho having so many flashbacks of his mom who was a druggie, bc he sees Liu as a druggie like his mom and keeps trying to push him away as his own way of self suffering. And also why Liu has so many flashbacks of Jaeho’s dad bc he keeps unfairly comparing Jaeho to him and puts up with the abuse bc he thinks he deserves it and it’s his own way of self suffering. I know it’s not something that’s easy to understand on the surface as a casual read, but I feel like if you’ve had experiences with trauma then you have a better sense of why they do things, but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea and I respect that as a fan. This author makes very powerful stories with this type of fucked up theme which is seen a lot in their other works too, but like I said it’s not for everyone. I feel like things will start to make sense more later on in the story so we can only hope things develop more.

It's a fiction and author is really good story teller with well thought out complex characters. The secretary came out of nowhere and forced him to take responsibility, his mother died, he's traumatised. He's shitty to the secretary but the sec is not completely blameless either. Where did see author or readers saying he's kind and thiughtful??? You have no right to shit on artist hardwork. Wtf

Working hard on something doesn’t make it good. The ML antagonized him countless times brought up his drug addiction in the elevator made him do all of these embarrassing things and because he followed his bosses will to bring the money to his son he’s at fault. Mentioning how he’s been around druggies and should know not to listen to them was not a dig it was true the only person wrong in the situation is the son. Especially when he kept digging at his drug scars and all of that

Dude no one thinks he is morally great. Not even morally great real life people makes morally right decisions or think it through before being shitty. All prople are shitty, good ppl are shitty majority of the time. Now these are fictional characters. The righteous attitude that you want them to have won't make them interesting at all. If you think you can do better story go make your own instead of shit talking about the artist/author. Naturally, people who are enjoying the manga won't like the ugly attitude that op showed.
I appreciate the author, they're one of the most talented artists cause they are giving a psychological manga like this along with fun light hearted private scandal manga. Author got range. Kids throwing tanturm and wanting characters to be gary stu won't certainly know how to appreciate such talented artist.

The author is shielding him from consequences by making the victim feel apologetic and fall in love with him. There was no self awareness from the secretary. He never stops and acknowledges what the seme makes him do like jerk off on the table or any weird thing like that. If they did THEN we can go into the direction of a toxic relationship since they are both traumatized and they don’t know any better. But the shift from rape and bad to “you’re kind and I like you” was so stagnant and showed bad pacing

By shielding from consequences I’m I mean making him the victim. Like apologizing for the rape thing or the fact that he had to join the company or his mom dying. The author is trying to make the ML seem like they are the one that’s suffering so everything they’ve done to the secretary was retaliation and payback not abuse of power. when in all actuality all of the things that happened to him were not the secretaries fault it’s his dad‘s fault so why does the secretary have to go through that and apologize for it? It’s not righteous to not want a character who is a rapist manipulator and abuser to get off Scott free and have the victim take the brunt maybe you just have bad morals I don’t know.
