It's an old manga...you might not like the art but you'll get used to it. This is a masterpiece by one of the founders of the yaoi genre.

I 2nd "Zankoku Na Kami Ga Shihai Suru" & agree with each & every word of Tomoko-chan. It's true that the art is old but it has a certain appeal to it, once you get used to it. Anyways, the plot is so gripping & fast-paced that, you won't have time to pay attention to anything else once you start reading. At least that's what happened to me. Aside from all the drama, not only among yaoi, this is one of THE BEST mangas I have ever read in my life. A rare kind of everlasting Masterpiece!

Oh I've already read this from long ago! Though I haven't been able to finish it. I've always thought Hagio Moto was inspired by Kaze to Ki no Uta, especially since the two authors were close and that the two manga has so much similar elements.

Really? I didn't know that the mangaka were close! I picked up Kaze to Ki no Uta because I was dying from craving for somthing similar to Zankoku. It's no wonder that both mangas have their oddly similar elements.

Yep! They were roommates actually, and they were part of a group of mangakas that founded and made the BL genre what it is now. One of the reasons why yaoi has so much titles that are deep, dark and complex is because of these two prolific authors. Oh dear...I started to rant now...

Nono. It's ok. I appreciate the rant when it's informative, especially when it concerns the mangaka of 1 of my fav mangas (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Wow. It's no wonder that there writing style & story cirmumstances are similar. When you spend that much time with someone you are bound to be influenced by them.
