i’m not sure about the homophobia part i think it’s pretty realistic they added that in. because children are told from the moment they’re born that a woman and man are the only option and normal so he probably was scared and thought it was wrong that he liked him too. its the same for adults many gay men lash out and act homophobic because they’re scared of how society would react, how their peers and family members react so they hide it

Yeah I get that it's the mc's struggle to accept himself but still he's hateful (even he would accept it at the end of story though) But me as gay just can't help feel offended by it
Love the art style but I can't keep reading this I dropped on halfway bcause it's rape & kinda homophobic, maybe? Like, this uke he had a crush on his male friend but he tried to refuse his own feeling because he wanted to be 'normal' and he once said it's gross.
