the author already clarified on twitter that they are NOT the same person. it's a coincidence they look a bit similar. But who knows, maybe he is still sus cause he's a red head :D I personally don't think so, but let's see...

Phew, what is it with the author and redheads? lol I wonder though if it will trigger Taehwan a bit? Hmm.

lol this boy has lived a good chunk of his life in the US now, i dont think every single man with reddish hair will trigger a traumatic episode. (i honestly never got the confusion either cause flashback kid has rly red hair and alex's hair is more orange-y and ginger like)

I only say that because he is having triggering flashbacks, and maybe this guy is gonna make him feel intimidated a bit because it seems as though he's pretty much not afraid to talk about his sexuality. Still, the author bringing in another redhead like that makes me wonder, but I hope he's just a good guy who is gonna support our Yeonwu! He needs that.

I'm not so sure if he ist just a "good guy" because when they were at the library and Alex asked Esther who Yeonwu was, she said he doesn't need to know. I mean he is her cousin and she always tells Yeonwu to find a good guy to date. I think there is a reason she didn't want to introduce them

Oh, no, don't do this to my poor Yeonwu, and I found it a bit suspect that he introduced himself while she was out of it too. I thought I was just being hypercritical though because it's easy to see a redhead and get nervous when reading a BL comic.

Maybe because he's so out of the closet though, and she doesn't want either of them to get hurt in that process as in Yeonwu. Let's just hope for that! lol

I keep thinking up scenarios where Taehwan flips out over it not only because he's jealous but also because he had someone in Yeonwu who was willing to be with him who wasn't telling him he had to declare his sexuality. They had that in common, and it was comforting for Taehwan.

yeah taehwan is but not cause of anyone's hair color lol. its def related to meeting that mike creeper again and starting to become a bit vulnerable (in spite of himself) during his sexcapades with yeonwoo. but anyway, alex seems friendly enough and i hope he's not secretly creepy either just cause he's goiing to be yeonwoo's entry into the lgbt community in that area and he deserves a place where he can be himself. but i guess we'll see eventually enough. (most likely alex will just be a love rival to taehwan and will cause some jealousy and force taehwan to reflect on what he rly wants out of this relationship with yeonwoo and if nothing else it can hopefully push taehwan to forgive yeonwoo for his transgression back in highschool)
