He isn't a coward... he has PTSD..... It should be obvious who to choose. If you have to think between the two, you have a serious problem..

Cmon, he ain't no coward, mc has lost memories, and that whole incident gave black haired guy ptsd.what we're seeing/reading is from mc's pov, we don't know what his boyfriend is going through. imagine having all that happened before your eyes , I'm sure it will take time to heal to black haired guy to overcome his fears and ptsd.
