I'm pretty sure it's not Lady Hildegarde that killed his parents so I'm interested to see who killed his parents...

    I have a feeling that during that time when she disappeared she was probably being taken care of by his parents who probably were neutral and compassionate like him. She must've been hazy but remembers their eyes. And when she recovered she probably left without letting them know or meeting them. Then someone else might have started the fire. Just my hypothesis.

    Yeah, I agree, she didn't remember killing them, she felt like she had seen those eyes but she didn't remember harming the civilians, she probably only killed soldiers and knight, etc so the king must be the one who made her looks more horrible as he doesn't want her to become more likeable and popular than the royalty
