For some it could be the artist’s style but a BIG decision maker is 1. The magazine (it’s rules+visual aesthetic aims+the age & gender demographic they’re trying to target) & 2. the the editor’s personal preference or beliefs.
Same reason why some manga can show girl’s or guy’s nipples but others can’t. Also why most mangaka’s can’t draw armpit hair. Seriously, there’s some magazines that they can show a **** or ***** but NOT armpit or chest hair.
genuine question: what’s up with semes not having nipples like 40% of the time? ukes have pretty detailed ones, then when the seme is shown in the same angle they don’t have it? is it just coincidence that i’ve seen it multiple times or??
