I'm very arkward, and shy, but god if you existed around me i would def be your friend! If i can overcome my social anxiety ;;;; but still i hope you'll have a friend that is a keeper!
Oops, i mistook a part sorry! But i hope ppl will understand u! I also don't have much friends in school,,, but that's normal right? You don't need to be friends w everyone, if you're happy w your friends everyone else doesn't matter!
She lived longer as the foul mouthed old hag than she did living as a noble. Her bad temper and foul mouth is a bad habit. And old habit is hard to get rid off. So i understand that she may be impulsive and indecisive. But it's realistic! Even if she had a terrible attitude, it doesn't necessarily mean she has confidence!!!
I mean from my 18 years of experience, I didn't have much friends because I look cold, uninterested, serious and I look like a bitch... I also have quite the temper so I find it difficult to get along with people. Even my crush told me yesterday that I looked cold and unapproachable and confident... In school I act confident, I talk confident but truth is, I have tons of insecurities. People talked behind my back and that has caused me to be reserved and quiet and talk harshly as coping mechanism...
So I definitely think Penelope is fine the way she is. Sure she should fix the way she speaks but at least we know she's not someone bad or pathetic. She went there herself to clear up misunderstandings but when people started talking, she remembered her past experiences and the anxieties. Plus its just what, chapter five? And ya'll expect her to be someone amazing and op? Lol. Dream on. Her character development will get better because at least now that the bitch countess put her in her place, now she knows nothing changed from her past life. She can start growing from there once acceptance settles in.
