Hi. Are you watching the anime as well? The classmates on the anime, are they in the LN? I'm so confused as to why they don't appear in the manga.
The LN has a ton of short chapters about the classmates as the mc is progressing through the dungeon. I don’t know why the manga decided not to include them ¯_(ツ)_/¯
probably because the author is stalling because they don't know how to draw people, no shade but sometimes these characters look fucked up. i love the storytelling tho

It seems like they took the time to completely focus on the mc to portray her journey.
Because the pacing seems to be slower than other manga I've read
(but maybe my judgement is influenced by the update speed idk, shout out to the translators for giving us the chance to read it tho thanks comrades)
the story progresses differently with the attack on mother and the demon king attacks, looking forward to this version too
