I know what the father did was out of love and chivalry, but it's really dumb and naive to go up in the mountains without leaving your hiking itinerary to someone you trust. It didn't have to be his wife, it could've been a friend or other relatives.

Mother Nature does not care whether you live or die, but the people you leave behind do.
