So basically the baby is Alan”s. The father of her first baby so she was pregnant when she came to the castle I’m pretty sure. Basically he thinks Navier is infertile cause when they were kids they ate some cookies that his mom the empress was going to use to poison his fathers concubine. He knew that since she wasn’t pregnant one or both of them was infertile. Since rashta was pregnant and he thought it was his he thinks she’s infertile but really the baby isn’t his and he’s the infertile one
