rei also went through abuse from endeavor as you said she was going through stuff it isn't about her gender yes she did end up abandoning her kids she burned shoto because he looked like endeavor she probably would've done worse if she stayed but then again she realized what she did was wrong. And the scar doesn't amount to what endeavor did she immediately tried to help him after and apologize endeavor didn't do that or even try until recently. Again maybe she shouldn't have abandoned her kids but she was scared of him and what he was doing and her menal health was not good enough for her to help them
Yeah, I feel like people forget that Rei was also being abused by Enji. Which is why those things happened. Either through reproductive abuse or emotional. Probably both.
Hollup something just occurred to me why does no one hold Rei accountable for her actions. Yes Enji is the big bad wolf but looking at it objectively and not trying to excuse Enji's abuse after Touya why did she:
1)want have more children when Enji didn't say anything about having more
2)why did she neglect her all her children, yes all of 'em, yes she was going through a hard time but she's still a mom, it's kinda her duty to give them love and care
3)why did y'all excuse her leaving a permanent scar on Shoto's face as a kid and not Enji for hitting him to become "stronger"
I think y'all are milking the hate on Enji just because he's male....
