I was thinking about this also! If the titans are no longer hardened then they'll either go run amuck or be stuck there??? This honestly feels like the calm before the storm

The titans of the walls are now free of control, with nobody to control them they will just run amuck and destroy not only the people of the world but the eldians that were within the walls and to be spared. So life on earth is destroyed completely. Isayama said that the series would end in tragedy and that outcome would be very tragic.
