The reason she's quite oblivious as per the cunningness of the new concubines is because she never actually interacted with the former harem of the late Sultan. It was mentioned here that she only (or more frequently) comes out during night time so the other women must be asleep by then that leaves here not much time on observing them. Given her personality here, she's quite the introvert who avoids people and human interaction so that explains her naive personality. The only thing who taught her is by reading books in the library and we all know that what's written there are limited. It kinda hurts me reading your comments about how dumb the fl but I respect your opinion. It's just that I love her and I completely understand why she is like that. Not because it is what you'll do if you happen to be in the same situation as her, it is what she'll also do.
