i think she is strong because she still want to do her best and try to change for the better when she was abused for the most of her life resulting in her stuttering and trauma
a strong female doesn't always mean she has to be badass
Actually, in the novel her fear and her weakness was justified. Since it's made into a manhwa, some of the details and the feelings were lost since it has be short. The page I used to read it on disappeared for some reason so I wasn't able to continue reading it but the novel describes her suffering very well.

Yeah, exactly that. Theg actually made it seem like she was a treasure of the family but in fact they didn't take care of her at all. She was lie a prisoner in the house and they never taught her ANYTHING and then her father would she was useless and shit but it was his fault. He always insult her about her stuttering. He said if Riften were to divorce her, he'd kick her out so basically she thinks that if the people of Anatol thinks she's useless, Riften would divorce her and throw her out. She was also afraid of asking other people because if she showed weakness, they would look down on her like the her family and their servants which basically leads to them bullying her (i think they would also not feed her sometimes but I forgot). Her father wouldn't take her in anymore and basically she'd die on the streets. The father was just so much asshole it infuriates me.
Why the FL looks so weak like that omg??!! It is starting to piss me off. I have laid it down and started to pick it up again now, but oh my lord
