i believe, more than him hurting his friend, he is traumatized by his experience being tw // raped. he believes that being hurt by others is his atonement for his. but yeah, he does feel remorseful for what he said to maki when theu were young
So he’s been suffering for 10+ years because he hurt his dear friend in the past? Oh my what is this, I nearly cry.. someone out there really have a heart of gold like this? He needs every love & hug in the world (;´∩`;)
