I know... But still. When you think of a "trial", the character usually has to overcome personal trauma, their own limitations, etc. (Like the first trial in Re:Zero in the second season).
Here he's just breezing through, having a kick out of it all, staying the same. I get that the bird is evil, but it must be blind if it didn't see to whom he'd just given power.
Like... What will Keyaru do after getting rid of every person who abused/was responsible for his abuse? (Wait... How many people are left?) Will he become an overlord wielding every op power possible, with his harem laying around his big ass throne... I wouldn't be surprised P_P
