I think that 90% of the Harlequin MLs I’ve read about give more than sufficient reason for doing that, and immediately blackmailing her with threatening to take her child away I would count as an excellent reason for never ever trusting this cad again. Also, like this dwerp, even though they’ve got this boo hoo background, they’re about as sensitive to a troubled pregnant woman’s emotions and worries as a polar bear is to a mother seal’s angst. It’s as though empathy is completely and utterly foreign to their natures.
I still think it is wrong not to tell the ML about the baby. It's not that the FL is aware that she perhaps is in a harlequin world where women have absolutely no rights xD but I agree with the rest.
I hate it when the ML blackmails the FL in order to get his way. That happens far too often in harlequins.
