Well, in the neat little corner of tumblr that I hang out at, we call them the side gays. Zhan and Jian Yi are the main couple, while He Tian and red head have their own story alongside. (=・ω・=)
I never really liked He Tian much but I prefer his interactions with Red/delinquent guy. It feels more genuine even if he's kinda mean to him. I'm not a fan of how he acts around his fan girls or Jian Yi. Generally I don't like smiley flirty characters unless there's an extra layer to them.
