I like Daiki’s character, I think he’s interesting and cool. I’m aware that this sequel wanted to emphasise a love story of two people both living in a very different world from each other but the story mostly focused on Daiki’s perspective or POV to the point it felt like I was only reading Daiki’s life story. Tatsumi lack of presence and perspective all throughout made his character feel flat despite part of his backstory was shown. I just didn’t fully connect with them as a couple.
