It's honestly kind of the norm. People tend to be softer on the uke in these kinds of situations compared to if the seme did it. And some people tend to be softer on the seme in other certain situations. It's just how it is. If you just focus solely on the story and plot instead of "if the roles were reversed", you might enjoy it more.
Definitely. I’m not really hung over it, I enjoy the story as is, but it was just a passing thought and realization I’ve had lately. After reading my fair share of bls, ig I’ve just gotten out of the fantasy phase of unfair treatment lmaooo
But you gotta remember, it is fantasy so no right or wrong exists here. In the real world, of course that’s different, it has consequences but that’s why fiction is there, to be able to enjoy the things we’re not allowed to enjoy in real life. Like i love a good murder plot in a fictional sense but that doesn’t mean i like it happening in real life. It’s really different. If you start imposing realistic things and expectations into reality, it just honestly ruins it for yourself because then you won’t even enjoy the place you go to which is full of fiction because of the realistic consequences you put into it.
For sure, I’m one of the same. I don’t think I was ruining it for myself, I still thoroughly enjoy this manhwa and I very well know how to separate fiction and reality. I guess you could say I was just making text-to-text connections? I understand where you’re coming from though, it’s hard to judge ones meaning when we all see things differently :)
I understand, i just see alot of comments comparing fiction and reality in yaoi alot, which is why I assumed what I assumed lmao xD I'm glad you're still enjoying it. It just gets frustrating when I see those comments and I feel like it ruins it for everyone who actually separate fiction and reality. Imagine having to read fluff content everyday, it just gets boring and it's like reading the same thing but different characters all the time. I don't want it to influence the authors to change the angsty manhwas into fluff content because of those who try to find realistic justice in these stories. Even if they do, it won't change anything in the real world which is what they fail to realize.

Like the below comment said, the ukes a whole seme but an uke. If the roles were reversed and this was another manga where the seme was the one that plotted that shit w the drugs against the uke, people would be dissing so fast. Lmaooo not that there’s anything wrong w that but just some food for thought. I still like their dynamics, I’m not complaining, but whenever a seme is the victim the problem is never really spoken upon in the comments. Or maybe I’m just ignorant and don’t read enough comments ( ° ʖ °)
