In japanese there aren't any direct she or he subject so it's a lot to the interpretation of the translator or if the author/writer give clues like the words woman, girl, boy, man or some adjectif usually used only for boy or girl. But a lots of nouns and adjective are genderless so who knows if cruz is a she or he. I would say Cruz is Cruz, a person ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
So are you just going to ignore the obvious gender reveal that happened in the bath? Why would the MC have a problem with the hero bathing with him if the hero was a guy? THE WHOLE BATHING CHAPTER IS SPECIFICALLY SET UP TO REVEAL THAT THE HERO IS A FEMALE!!!

The title is: "The Strongest Wizard Becomes a Countryside Guardsman After Taking an Arrow to the Knee." Jack Pyroy1000
Ahah this one. Certainly lol I made that post waaay before any potential gender reveal and I still think, Cruz is Cruz lol ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ but it does seems like she might have female attribute given the last chapters (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
