i'm not gonna measure their mistakes as parents cause thats just like saying rei's bettercause she inflicted "lesser childhood trauma" to her child when in general they both were responsible for touya's growth. but i will agree that i wouldn't want endeavor to be left off the hook that easily just because he's not in his stoic, arrogant character. time will tell how they will choose to handle their family problems but i personally think it'd be better to reconcile and move on. natsu is a representation of that pent up anger. if they're not at least gonna hear endeavor out then they'll be stuck in a spiral of constant unhappiness and never understand how it feels to actually have a functioning family. and as someone who's had similr circumstances in real life, it just isnt worth it
