second male lead syndrome

I suffer from aways wanting the mc to end up with the 2nd or like 3rd or 4th male lead but now that the male lead is the second male lead and the second male lead is the first male lead i got confused and now it seemed like she was gonna end up with black hair but now it seems like blondie has a chance of chnaging his mind so who do i root for who is the maina nd who is the side also I don't like how they make irrelavent character little blobs it makes the story short sided and we can only get attached to the main hcaracters even if its easier i think it would be better to add actually drawn side characters to give it some personality (=・ω・=)
