Agree, nothing really felt resolved. You have a man who was sexually abused by his teacher and blames himself (props to the author for at least acknowledging it's not a romance trope, it's a crime though... yes the bar is that low), and another man who is having to give up on his dreams of rugby and can't even have sport as a hobby. Oh they had sex and they got together... and? They have nothing in common bar the uni kid being pushy till the bar manager just gives in.
