Yeah I'm completely agree, if anything I wish he moved on from Taylor faster
exactly. i couldn’t stand taylor from the jump. they tried to make you sympathetic towards taylor by showing how his thoughts never aligned up to what he wanted to say, but if anything it made me dislike him more.
well, it wasn’t as bad as the comments would lead you to believe. if I’m being honest, the moment taylor started acting wishy washy towards Jimmy i was already over him and rooting for Henry.
Comments make it seem as if Jimmy moved on too fast, but in my opinion, henry was there for jimmy literally the entire time. every hiccup jimmy had henry was there comforting him whether he knew why or not. Taylor clearly knew how in love jimmy was, and yet let him walk away without a second of hesitation. meanwhile, throughout the whole time jimmy was being threatened, henry was there for him letting him know he was there for him when he was ready to talk. that’s the difference.
to me, jimmy had a savior complex type love for taylor. he was in love with the idea of Taylor not because he was actually in love with him, but because taylor was the savior he needed after the lab. the first person he ran into and the first one to take care of him.
idk i think the comic did have some rough patches, but it was overall pretty good. it definitely made me experience all types of emotions from hate, to sadness. it just feels fast paced because there’s twist after twist happening and not one straight storyline.
