When I worked at a cinema, we had to walk across the top (where we can look down and see everybody) once every thirty minutes just to make sure no one was up to anything (rowdy, recording, etc)
I caught multiple people in the 6 months I worked there lololol.
Never worked at a cinema, but I witnessed it too. I remember it being "50 shades" movie and the girl in the back row was just having fun with something. Fun fuct, it is not true squelches cannot be heard
