Daniel is not a bad guy, okay :>
Daniel's mother is a fairy. Yup, fairy. Fairy like a fairy in Cinderalla since this story is related to Cinderella.
Pevious Mildred, before her death, wishes in depair, like very very very desperate that her three daughters can be happily married (Previous Mildred is death, now we have Now Mildred).
Fairies are sensitive to despair, and Daniel has to check out Mildred's residence to figure out the cause for the despair, which is why he is interested in the house. He is not money-hungry that wants to take a fallen noble house.
Like, you dont need spoiler to understand that he himself has enough money. I mean, Queen Dowager as his godmother and also he is one of richest person in the country. How could you misunderstand him, he is such a sweet guy ><
I’m not strictly hating on Daniel. I’m just saying that I don’t like that kind of male lead archetype. I don’t like male leads who’s creepy like him. Another that I can think of is Asher from Reverse Hourglass. He’s really creepy when he kept leaving the flowers in Aria’s room every night when Aria was unconscious because of “poisoning.” I read the novel, and all I can say is he’s kinda lovable but he’s definitely creepy.
Going back to Daniel, whenever I see a panel of him, I get the same vibes and it’s unsettling to know that he’s the male lead. Like why?! I don’t care if he’s a fairy or if he’s rich or great and all but he’s creepy as hell.
I really don’t like ml’s like the baron. He’s creepy and too mysterious(?). The way he talks is just so unsettling. Like how can you guys just like him? Is it the face? Or what?
