I understand what you mean. People love to shit on Enji but praise Rei like she's she didn't abuse Shoto. Accidental or not she shouldn't have taken her frustrations out on him and while the damage is nowhere near as monumental as Enji's, people are fine with her... Which doesn't make sense to me. He's been growing from this, and as crazy as this curve ball was for him he will get through it.
Tbh what I really hate is people being hung up on Enji's past in these comments... Yes he did horribly wrong but he's trying, they don't have to forgive him but he's trying and coming to terms with what he's done. When yall do wrong, most of y'all say sorry and don't mean it, mans actually means it and means it and is trying to fix things. Y'all wanna look past people's past and say it doesn't define them until it comes to men like Enji. I honestly feel at a point Enji cared for his family, but the frustration of trying to be best and not being the best took a toll on his mental and he tried to make sure his children didn't have his quirk limitations and surpassed him (ngl marrying Rei was so good, quirk wise..), but when kids started being kids and couldn't keep up, he thought using a firm hard hand would help them get better and achieve his dream and it led to abuse, and making their quirks stronger and trying to be the No 1 hero made him into an insensitive abusive jerk... I'm not even trying to justify his past but at least let him try and make up for his wrongdoings and have character development..... I hope the Todoroki's heal and be happy together, but Keeping up with the Todoroki's is hella interesting..
Anyways how's my baby Midoriya, the way the OG One for All holder said they're gonna stay with Deku was so wholesome, and come through Kacchan with the character development, I used to hate you but I'm actually starting to like you....
But damn hero community and society is falling to pieces, ngl the civilians are so ungrateful, as if they can say they can want to fight, possibly to death for other people's safety. Tch, sometimes I understand the villians mindset. I truly feel like Heroes and villians are two sides of the same coin at this point. The heroes need reform, only people who genuinely want to save people should be called heroes IMO, villians are just people who failed to have the right guidance and were looked at as freaks, that was mostly civilians fault, heroes just managed to Seal the deal... But if there are no bad guys there would be no need for heroes
