umm...not to be rude but the tags are there to give you an idea of what the story is about so saying that is kinda stupid. and also this story started off rapey so if you didn’t like that your couldve just dropped it. no one told you to keep reading it so if you didn’t like wat you read you shouldve just left
i see ur point. just bc it has a rape tag in it doesnt mean rape has to always be in it throughout the entire story lol sure if the author thinks it's a staple part of the storyline's progression then go ahead. but if not, like the part with the incubus that almost just served as a filler and not an arc, then thats just,, yikes ?
did you... did you actually read their comment? Just because a manga has a rape tag doesn't mean there needs to be multiple acts of assault and rape???? It would've been fine if it was just used as a plot point at the beginning (which it was, and it was seen as bad), but now it just keeps happening for absolutely no reason?? Why is everyone's go-to line "just stop reading it!" and not "but is the rape/assault really crucial to the story?". I absolutely do not mind rape tropes if it's seen as the bad thing it is, and the plot cannot progress without it. Rix however just keeps getting assaulted for no damn reason. It really isn't crucial to the plot at all, and people are allowed to express their discomfort at this without people barking at them to shut up
we have the same sentiments like why are yalls asking us to stop reading it if we're legitimately here for the plot and we just dont see the rape making sense for the plo's progression further like whats not clicking
Once again, it's not the rape, it's the fact that it adds nothing to the story & makes absolutely no sense. I read manga with rape all the time with no problem. Rape in fiction is not triggering to me. And I'm allowed to give my opinion on the story. Positive comments aren't the only ones that matter. I'm continuing the story because I like how it started off & I hope it gets better soon.

The Incubus himself said Rix wasn't his type but proceeded to rape him in his dream. it's laughable at this point

ik that i was basically jus saying that this is the way the author wants the story to go. if a person dont enjoy it then they should probably drop it. if they keep coming back its not jus gonna magically change the story that they wrote already so theres no point in getting angry about it and complaints after every chapter is pointless
You can't just expect that people would just leave without saying a word. We've been invested in the story for months. It's ok that you have no problem with it, but other people are allowed to have different opinions & voice them. That's like saying if you like a story you can't talk about how good it is every chapter. Like I said, positive comments aren't the only ones that matter. It's not as if we hate the story, we just don't like how it is going now. I'm just hoping that this doesn't continue.
thats why i said wat i had said. theres nothing wrong with saying wat you dont like about something but after a while if you keep complaining about the exact same thing its jus dumb. its like going to a restaurant and seeing your favorite dish on it bit when you get it it’s disgusting and then later when go back instead of getting something else you order the same disgusting dish. you know its nasty there so why get it again and why not go somewhere else where you know its good. thats why i was saying theres no point in reading something you wont enjoy. the best bet would be jus to wait till its complete to read the entire plot or jus drop it al together. no ones forcing anyone to read something where they arent enjoying the story
But people ARE going to complain about it for a while because they've been reading the manga since July of last year. Using your analogy, it's like you frequently go to this restaurant & the food is really, really good, you become friends with the management & staff & everything (because people ARE in love with the characters & the plot) & all of a sudden your favourite dish at that restaurant starts tasting like garbage. It's not that all the food has gotten bad, it's just that item in particular. Would you simply stop going to the restaurant you've loved for so long? Or would you talk about it to the manager & hope they get it right again? Because it's not as if we all just hate the story now, we hate a particular aspect of the story that isn't necessary to the plot at all. We still love the characters & the original storyline. So why should we just drop it & pretend we didn't spend months invested in the story & falling in love with the characters?

Stop saying because the manga has a rape tag we should expect rape. Rape isn't necessarily the issue here. All of us would've read in the beginning where that demon was raping Rix. And we still read on because the story had potential. What the demon was doing to Rix was seen as a horrible thing that he'd eventually pay for. Now later on in the story everyone & their grandpa is getting a piece of Rix with no future repercussions. Someone just assaulted Rix & he let them kiss him & touch his nipples after they assaulted him. Wtf! I don't think the author is going to stop this anytime soon. So we're allowed to complain about it because the rape arc of this story makes no sense. And this started off so good too. It's really sad.
