You’re not wrong. My issue is the type of character is the default for every romance genre plot without fail. It’s just a cliche at this point. It’s not even an issue of perfection when every love interest is “imperfect” in the exact same way everytime to the point it’ becomes its own desirable trait. It’s a desirable trait that has none of the reality behind it just pure fantasy each and every time and I’m complaining as this is solely an issue with BL, is seen every where. And isnt trapped within our pages and our screens and that’s the problem.

Maybe this one is not for you then. Just skip it. Shounen ai must be less stress for you.
