I feel pity for how brutally the ex was shut down and I feel pity for demon king boi cus he'd accepted that he was gonna be an enemy and foil to the OG couple and the second he saw a chance to get together with mc he took it without any hesitation and is now living a literal lie to stay with the woman he loves. But let's be honest if she knew he was the demon king from the start she would've dipped out and it's thanks to the demon kings false identity that they're together. Also side note, demon kings kinda lookin yandere

I don't feel pity for how the ex was turned down. (● ̄(エ) ̄●)
For one, he wasn't invited...two it's such a creepy thing to show up to your ex girlfriend's wedding day and give her flowers. Like no one does that, it's taboo.
Third, there are real men in this world still obsessing over their exes and being extreme creepers about it...u_u) my friend recently broke up with her ex and he's literally doing the same thing as this guy. He keeps low-key guilt-tripping her, reminding her of the old times, and begging, and constantly trying to get back on her good graces.

It’s easy to forget bc it’s been quite awhile since he was involved, but remember a large part of why they broke up was his cheating. Then he wouldn’t accept things when she tried to let him down easy and he became starkerish and she had to make it clear to him multiple times they were over. If someone isn’t getting the message then it’s more cruel in the long run to give them any false hope. For me to be okay with him showing up and feel sorry for him a couple of things would have to have been different 1) he’d have to have never cheated 2) they would have had to have broken up on good terms. Maybe something like he needed to go to the capital to become a knight and she wasn’t going to follow because her life was there so they decide to break up then after he becomes a knight he realizes he didn’t want to break up and goes back to give it one more shoot because he really loves her. Only for her to harshly shoot him down or even explain she’s moved on and wishes him all the best, but she’s happy now. Then I would feel bad for him. I might even feel bad for him If he hadn’t cheated, but they still broke up and then he’d learned about her getting married and was broken hearted, but didn’t show up to her damn wedding
