I would be pissed that he did not trust me. I personally don’t care if someone flirts with my partner I can’t control the other person but I do care about is what they say back to the flirt. I so frustrating seeing these manga men shields and hide their wives and girlfriends when they are fully capable of taking care of themselves. I’m not saying that they don’t need help it’s just that he is always got something to say. Like every story I read I inserted myself in the story and the way I would slapped him maybe not slap cuz I’m like 5’1 but still he did not need to go that far as to make a all female horse rink. Like sir can you please crawl out of my ass.
lol yes I can see him getting upset at the male house staff seeing her too. and yes if this was irl most girls would get pissed off at this type of behavior, and it would be a huge red flag of a possessive, potentially abusive, partner, so one to flee from. I usually take it as an easy quick way to convey the passion the ML has for the FL, and i always hope that any and all male readers realize this is NOT a good trait, and it's relegated to this type of character (he's kinda half demon) as it's a "beauty tamed the beast" type story.
There is one thing I keep wondering how this artist is going to pull off. Later down the line, The duke freaks out because Lucia has a dress on that shows a bit of skin in the back. He can't stand that someone else can see that much skin on her. However I am looking at these dresses she is wearing now and, yes they are pretty, but goodness most of her chest and a lot of other skin is showing. I feel like when the other part of the book comes, It will make no sense in the manwa version.
