Why would you look at it in that narrow way??? Horus is just telling Anubis the truth not trying to sneak his way into his dad's tunic. Horus was helping Anubis and wants to help Seth, he regrets what he did to Seth even though it wasn't his fault. Don't try to paint this story with one wide brush stroke. There isn't even any more BL things happening in the rest of the story.

SPOILERS CH 59/60/61
Anubis goes to Horus to ask him how to break his curse.
Flashback to kid Horus
So Horus, while he and his mom are persecuted by Seth, wants to meet Seth. He doesn’t go there to kill Seth (he brings the dagger with him to protect himself if needed) but to meet him and see if there is anything he could do to change his own fate (Horus') because he was basically tired of living in fear.
In the end, the Seth he sees is drunk and drugged because kid Anubis ran away after a fight and he couldn't find him anywhere - Anubis tried to kill himself and went to the world of the dead, there he met up with Osiris who comforted him becoming a “new father” figure and managed to give kid Anubis his life back to him.
So when the drunk, high and super depressed Seth sees kid Horus, he thinks he is Anubis and hugs him while crying, asking him where he’s been, that he's been looking everywhere for him, that he is the one in the wrong and that Anubis will always keep being his son no matter what anyone else says, asking Anubis not to throw him away, that he could hate him and refuse to forgive him, anything as long as kid Anubis doesn't abandon Seth.
All this was a total shock to kid Horus, who imagined Seth as someone completely different, so he ends up comforting and playing along as "Anubis" while Seth hugs him and asks forgiveness all night long.
Seth also says that he wants Anubis to never grow up and remain an innocent child forever, so that he never has to know anything and can stay by Seth's side as his little son forever. This wish unfortunately becomes a powerful curse which has been repressing both Anubis and Horus' physical growth for hundreds of years, only Horus knows about this whereas Anubis is still in the dark.
Horus says that he accepts that accidental "curse" by Seth because deep down at the time he really envied Seth's son and wanted to replace him because the first time he ever knew comfort was in Seth's arms.
As for Anubis, he says that even if his dad cried and been sorry that time, it‘s still too late because all the people Seth killed now placed a curse on Anubis' arm because Anubis let him kill them during all those centuries that he spent not intervening and just waiting for his father to get back to his senses. The curse was on Seth's sword and meant for Osiris, but since Osiris was possessing Anubis' body without Seth's knowlege, the curse ended up on Anubis' arm instead of Osiris' like Seth had intended.
Anubis wanted to become a god in order to be able to survive and heal this curse on his arm, and Horus said he would just tell him how to become a god so that Anubis would stop being Seth's weakness (Horus probably knew Osiris was always using against Seth, over and over).
He said Anubis' foolishness was putting Seth in danger, and this was unacceptable for Horus, so Horus no longer cared if they reconciled or not, he was going to tell Anubis how to become a god so others couldn't continue using it against Seth. The method was that Anubis needed to forget about every single thing he wished for and everything that made him who he is, including every memory, feeling and bond he ever had with Seth and to basically cut all ties he ever had with his former father.
And? Horus and Set are romantically going to be together and Set and Anubis are going to have a lovely dad and son relationship together. A nice family. Set can be with someone and make up with Anubis, there’s multiple options.
Read my comment above your two replies to this post :). You’ll get why Horus envies Anubis, Anubis being a little bitch sometimes but it’s not his fault either, all these conflicts make Anubis think Set hate him so Anubis dislikes Set too, Horus decided not to help Anubis because Anubis doesn’t cherish Set as much as he does secretly.
How is Horus annoying? He’s just too mysterious right now. Anubis isn’t getting anything cause he hasn’t made progress to become a god, only in s2 he becomes god with Horus. Horus didn’t do anything wrong, tell me why Horus is annoying? If you’re annoyed don’t read because it’s main couple is Horus x Set.
Okay but I’m asking what makes you find him annoying?? He’s not like any other ML, he’s just mysterious and has barely shown his personality like others. It’s not your choice if it’s fitting or not, it’s the authors choice and I personally like it :).
You haven’t even seen Horus personality in S2 and you’re already making a mark, that truly defines you.
The reason I don’t like him is because I rather him and Seth not fall in love like I said I don’t like this as being a romance story the end game should just be Seth and Anubis (not them in love) but as a stable loving family I don’t dislike Horus as a character I dislike him being the end game with Seth
For people asking "What's up with Anubis?" He CURRENTLY has two curses on him, and the way to survive them both is the sacrifice mentioned at the end of chapter 50 (Anubis is crying because he's remembering Horus' voice telling him the what his only way to survive is, and he refuses to accept it). His second curse (introduced in chapters 37/38) can only be lifted after solving the first curse (mentioned in chapters 20, 21 and 27), and Anubis is crying because that means doing what Horus told him, which he's remembering at the end of chapter 50. One thing to keep in mind: Horus is NOT lying
