I really love this manga and I've been sticking to it since the beginning... but I think Morinaga deserves someone better now. I get that Morinaga is being patient because he loves him, but I just feel bad for him. I know that some people are gonna hate me.. but I mean come on. 10 volumes and Senpai just won't budge. What I think needs to happen is Morinaga realizes that it's one sided and decides to finally leave Senpai and then that's when Senpai realizes that he really loves him and chases after him and FINALLY fucking says I love you, so please don't go. And then their sex can be mutual!! Lol Sorry.... just had to vent. ^_^

In some ways, I absolutely agree with you. But on the other hand, I do think Souichi has evolved, and actually quite a lot. Thinking about it now, I don't see quite as much change in Morinaga's character...but Souichi is the titular tyrant after all, and Morinaga did learn how to hold back a liiittle bit. Looking at Souichi's backstory and character and just how much he despises homosexuality from the bottom of his heart, I'm actually quite impressed with the concessions he's made over time. Yes, it's a very slow process, but at the same time it sort of makes the story unique and kind of real. The turnaround tends to happen much faster, and it often seems a little rushed, so I'm actually glad this manga is taking its time. And since I really like both characters, I can stick it out, even through the times it drags a bit.

With that said though, that last chapter bothered me just a touch, because, despite it being funny, it felt like a step backwards from the progress in the previous chapter (and the ending of the last volume, actually). Not only in terms of Souichi, which is the more obvious one, but also with Morinaga - I felt like he got just a little too cocky, almost like he were asking for it...c'mon, what did he think was gonna happen if he tricked Souichi into letting him into the bathroom and then proceeded to making advances and touching his butt? xD All in all, the whole chapter kinda felt like we were back in the middle of the series.

Still, I do like the idea of Morinaga confronting his past by settling things with his parents, one way or the other, and I do hope that no matter how it goes, it will bring him and Souichi closer together. I wouldn't mind a flat-out love confession, however, if it came about in the way you described it, it would basically just be retracing what happened in the beginning, only on a bigger scale - you know, when Morinaga was about to leave the university after their first sex, and Souichi caught him packing his stuff and then basically told him to stay...So I think it'd be nice if the Takanaga-sensei came up with another way of making it happen. ^-^

Jesus, I didn't mean to write quite this much...sorry about that. o.O

Wow... lol you typed an entire essay XD I absolutely agree with Soichi evolving gradually... and I also think that they were just "running in circles" in terms of their relationship and Souichi's attitude towards it. I just wish the love confession would happen already. Hahaha :D thanks for your thoughts.

You have no idea how many times I've come up with this fantasy of "Morinaga giving up and senpai running after him" too. I mean, yeah, senpai is changing but man, can't you change faster? LOL. Sweet baby Morinaga needs some PROPER lovin'

That's exactly me ranting from the 1st volume to the 7th. However, the me now won't be able to say it again. Senpai's character development is going smoothly these days, and he's so cute that i can't really complain. Senpai is really trying. We're getting there don't worry.
