disillusioned (spoliers)

one thing i loved about this manga is the fact that they kept emphasizing the fact how an innocent and "ordinary" girl could conquer the blue sky beast and make people follow her despite how physically weak she was. her ordinariness was celebrated. she always tried her best even knowing she didn't have cool powers or magic.

but then power up!!!! the illusion is shattered. the message of the story is lost completely twisted into something else. don't get me wrong, the story was cute and the plot and character development was good.

but then she not only get magical powers but these are very super powerful magically powers she conquers immediately without practice and ends a war from breaking out.

that made the story sour for me because i loved how she was emphasized as being ordinary and then BAM....MEGA POWER UP.

The idea that an abnormal beast can fall in with an ordinary girl is lost.the idea that it's not big ideas and big actions that change our worlds but a collection of minute and small actions is lost. she got powers and the conflict ends.i really didn't like that idea. but overall a good story nevertheless.

I also like her ordinariness. I just wanted to point out that she stayed ordinary to the end. It wasn't her that had the magic powers, it was still Izark. She was only able to use his power because she connected to him through the world of light. She never had any powers of her own.
