Even though this story is somewhat fully and happy, the idea of Kotaro being a mortal, which means he'll grow old and die eventually, makes it even more painful to know how much the incubus truly sacrificed to be with him - not only his education and rank, but also the grief that has yet to come. (Yes, my main quality is to take fun out of everything, I'm sorry)
