Ugh, I also hate that other excuse people useLike, just because something is fiction doesn't mean it's moral, good or ok. People are still allowed to criticise it within reason
I personally don't have a huge problem with rape in fiction, as long as it's done right, meaning the rapist receives some kind of repercussions & the person who was raped can find some kind of closure. I am not one to complain every time I see a rape scene, & I think it's dumb to keep looking at a manga you know has rape scenes in it especially when you can see the tags. If it triggers you stay away from it as much as possible.
HOWEVER, this manga really is getting put of hand! Literally every few chapters Rix gets assaulted in some form. This latest scenario the Incubus wasn't even attracted to him!!! He's literally getting raped just because & I've only seen one person face repercussions for raping him, & it was only because that guy was a human trafficker so it was indirect. As many people already said, it's as if he author is just introducing more characters for them to/attempt to rape/assault Rix. Rix is just getting raped all the time & it's so hard to look at that. You have to turn off a piece of yourself to continue reading this (at least that's how it is for me) & detach yourself & once you're doing that what's the point of continuing this story??? I'm not gonna drop it but I understand why people want to. I just want to see Rix curse-free & happy. He doesn't need to be raped every 3 chapters. It doesn't aid in plot development at all.
P.S. I'm seeing this kind of stupid response everywhere so let me address it before someone replies, just because you personally have no problem with rape in manga (maybe you have a rape kink) doesn't mean other people aren't allowed to have a negative reaction to it or criticise it when it makes no sense storywise. Atp I won't be surprised if Rix's horse tries to rape him.
