i don’t mean to sound rude but i believe that the author is bringing up the fact that yahwi and jooin knew i leach other in childhood as an act of desperation...
a lot of people tend to root for childhood lovers which i understand bc i’m a bitch for the “knew each other as kids and found each other as adults” trope but this just isn’t it.
there was no inclination that yahwi and jooin knew eachother as children until i would like to say a majority of the readers in both korea and the US began to truly dislike yahwi as a character and how he’s been treating jooin.
idk this is just speculation, i could be completely wrong and this could’ve been planned from the beginning but it just seems random
