Yup that's what I think too! But it's weird don't you think? The crown prince said he shouldn't go to the capital cause people might remember his past self. But how is that even possible with a curse that makes everyone forget about his existence?
Well the person who actually cast the curse might recognize him, or the curse might not work on certain people? It's hinted that Priscilla seems to remember him from her childhood.

and since MC also expected to build ML up to be an independent ruler, this doesn't change much her plans. it helps her have the courage to stand up too. another reason to fight straight up. rather than staying in the neutral political stance.
I didn't think about that. Which would make much more sense (0.0 )... If Kian became emperor, this would also somewhat benefit the western empire cause (I'm guessing) the crown prince will become close friends with them. He'll also become the western emperor and the two empires would establish a treaty. Perhaps the Crown prince will help them, but that would probably be treated as treason if anyone found out.

In all honesty, they haven't talked much about the curse as of now. The crown prince said he was lucky he came across it so I'm guessing it's on record, but very very hidden, so only higher ups know about it.

I've been having some thoughts... the prince mentioned thar kian would become some sort of threat for the eastern royal family. Does this mean he could be an heir to the throne?
He also mentioned how he's much better than their emperor and crown prince and the others didn't disagree. So I'm guessing the royal family are crap and kian (who's cain) is the rightful heir but was forgotten by everyone apart from the prince and Priscilla (no idea how that works) because of a curse the royal family put on him...
