In certain religions, (I know for sure Christianity and Islam and possible Judaism) circumsition is though to be put of the religion and dedicates the children to the Lord...so the children are circumcised really young. Other parents chose it to be done to their babies health reasons....or so my my said (everyone is my family is circumcised...even my two year old brother.)
In my country, even if we are Christians. Boys here will be circumcised at age between 10-13 y/old the same time as the beginning of their puberty that why I didn't know that a baby can be circumcised lmao
