nor at all the case. its not that Basic of a plot. im going to send a spoiler explaining the reason for the rift in yeonwoo and taehwan's friendship back in hs and u can check that out and see for yourself or u can read the raws from the mega link i put up in the comment section. (its been re linked everywhere). taehwan isnt some abusive dbag or a manipulator or someone using a naive innocent boy In Love. its more complicated than that. (for one yeonwoo is a true masochist and likes being handled roughly in bed. its not taehwan dictating that, yeonwoo was alrdy into the idea of taehwan dominating him sexually, as are many other people in the comment section it seems like lol)

this person definitely hasnt read the raws. since those clearly show what happened to upset taehwan. albeit im sure soem people can interpret them how they want without the ability to read the hangul text but i think most people would draw the same conclusion. have you read the raws? if not i can give an overview of the specific incident wrt taehwan and yeonwoo in hs that drove the wedge between them.

the reason taehwan is upset with yeonwoo Specifically is that yeonwoo kissed taehwan back in HS while taehwan was asleep. taehwan however woke up and freaked OUT. he def felt betrayed. we see in this chpt how taehwan felt safe and comfortable with yeonwoo perhaps more than anyone else in south korea and then yeonwoo did that and its heavily implied that taehwan is sustaining some kind of trauma from childhood and for sure that fed into his oversized reaction to yeonwoo kissing him. but yeah tbh it was messed up for yeonwoo to do period. but yeah thats why taehwan is cold to him now when he was so fond of him before. (tbf to yeonwoo he was like a kid and had NO clue about taehwan's past and figured he was asleep and wouldnt notice so i think yeonwoo can be forgiven for his mistake)

I mean yeah if thats the case if he likes it (being dominated) or smth I'll oblige. Sad past card does not justify anything I'm just saying. I don't have a sense of empathy for most of the time especially with people like taehwan. The uke didn't know so I mean that's creepy ig. no ofc you dont have to like taehwan or the story but i think people are misunderstanding something (partly cause the writer is taking her time doling out information) and are making assumptions not based on anything we've SEEN taehwan do or say, just on what we THINK he might do or say based on other works in the BL genre that bear superficial similarities to this one. thats why i wrote out the spoiler as it gives context for taehwan's coldness. i think people are also assuming that taehwan agrees to the thing with yeonwoo as a way to punish or take out his anger on yeonwoo or the world. thats not it at all. or at hte very least nothing ive seen in the raws indicates that this is the case. we alrdy know that yeonwoo is very aware of what he likes and wants wrt sex but we the readers know less about what taehwan wants or likes wrt sex but it in the raw its stated that taehwan is NOT familiar with all the kink and sex toys Yeonwoo has around (but he manages to figure it out rly quickly lol). but yeah i dont think taehwan had some evil masterplan to use yeonwoo until he breaks or until he (taehwan) gets bored but rather because a spontaneous sex act that occurs after taehwan takes drunk yeonwoo home kind of Awakens something in Taehwan and its after that (bizarre lol) sex dream taehwan has of yeonwoo that his attitude changes and him and yeonwoo start a no strings attached sex realationship. i think alot of people are just automatically assuming that by doing this or be dominating yeonwoo that taehwan is abusing him or using him. but casual sex doesnt = anything bad on its own nor does kink. we've seen nothing from yeonwoo to indicate he's doing anything against his will. and if anything his harboring feelings for taehwan (and denying that he does) in order to keep having sex with him is deceptive. i do love yeonwoo and i get why he's doing what he's doing but i think its unfair to paint yeonwoo as a pure victim and taehwan as a cold blooded predator. i dont think his trauma (which imo he barely acknoweldges to Himself) is something he's working out by harming yeonwoo. but i do think we'll find out more about this trauma as him and yeonwoo get closer. (which they undoubtedly will since this is a love story afterall). but yeah for taehwan all of his less savory actions have had legitimate motivations behind them that dont revolve purely around his ego or self interests. like he's complicated i guess is what im saying and tbh so is yeonwoo.
