I dropped this manhwa at like chapter 40 cuz I felt the same exact way I don’t really want haesoo with joowon but I don’t want him with taku either cuz their relationship just seemed dry and it seemed like taku was the only one putting in effort I didn’t really pick it back I’m just looking at the most recent chapters and it’s just so eh to me
I swear its always the ppl that didnt even read it in full acting like they know things. like first of all taku was manipulative and selfish and he got what he deserved. joowon sacrificed everything he could for haesoo and genuinely loved him. their toxic r/s was cause of their parents and they fight to make it work.
Yes. Because of their parents guiltripping haesoo and joowon being pressured by his father which we will see more of in the next chapter in flashbacks! Like maybe you just did not get it??? Idk, dont think loh is that hard to understand but clearly it is id youre gonna say “we’re back to where we started” when actually. we are not at all.
I dont want to write an essay here so i’ll just drop my friend’s analysis of the story and take my leave. have a good day~ http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/9496997/
I really don't appreciate the way that you're talking to everybody in this conversation. you're being really rude over a fictional story. people are entitled to their own opinions just because you don't agree with them doesn't mean that you have the right to say whatever you want. people interpret stories differently and not everyone is going to agree with you. in my first post I put if you don't agree with my opinion that's fine, I'm not going to be arguing with people and changing my opinion so if you're just going to keep replying talking about how people are stupid if they don't agree with your opinion then go on somebody else's comments because I don't want to hear it anymore.
just because the end ship is with the first guy doesn't mean typical or boring. if you were reading this story since it got out (like the minority of us) you'd know that there was always uncertainty in every context, every situation, every character's actions. no one knew who was end game because there were so many fucking pushes and pulls that it got so fucking frustrating. like sure there's some kind of standard to love triangles but this story is different. the main point of this story was its in-betweens, the process towards the ending - the representation that all three characters delivered. the love triangle was able to carefully display them as three different forms of love
it wasn't just "the first guy is the main love interest cause that's how it's supposed to be". NO. joowon represents one's genuine willingness to become a better version of himself because of love, because love made him realize who he really was and who he wanted to strive to be, and that is so selfless and beautiful. haesoo represents uncertainty and doubt because he was afraid of what the world would think about his definition of love and that is pitiful because no one should have any right to call your feelings wrong just because it's different. taku represents youth and naivety, as someone who's only recently felt love and has hurt people because of his inexperience. and as much as how fucked up that is, it is a human reaction - it's reality.
so i feel disappointed that people (whether they've fully read the story or not) just lumps the plot into some dramatic love triangle. cause i for one have enjoyed all the underlying themes this story has shared to us. honestly if this wasnt a love triangle i feel like it wouldve been appreciated more. because the metaphors the three characters stand for is just mindblowing
Im dropping this manhwa :( I just dont like joowon, I never really liked him. I didnt really like taku either. tbh I kinda feel like i wasted my time with this manhwa bc it was the same type of love triangle over and over again. One day haesoo is with taku the next hes with joowon. they both have good and bad qualitys but i thought it was unfair of haesoo to just drag them both along until he ultimately decided. I do respect him for trying to focus on himself and figure out who he wanted to be with, but he didnt stick with it and was always unsure. in the end i dont think haesoo shuldve ended up with either of them but instead focus on himself and his career. I also think that although joowon deeply cares for haesoo but that he has a toxic relationship with him and the same haesoo and with taku. This is all my opinion and if you don't feel the same thats okkk (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
