Yes, the main character is super slow and this gets her in ridiculous situations. How many times has this been the case in normal shojos, with the difference that the later actually take themselves seriously?
Its refreshing, and in a way it incarnates many recurring things that us, as shojo/josei/BL readers have found comes up again and again, except this time, it makes fun of it.
