Some of Yamada Sugi's works, my fav is Aiso Tsukashi
Of course, I'm just saying the ones with suffering, but a conventional happy ending. If you want some with endings that will make you feel bitter about the end, I can say:
Calling! (The story of the first couple - Shiki and Keigo - left everyone feeling bitter about it after rading the whole manga. I personally hated it, but it is sad)
First Kiss (not quite sad, but really bittersweet)
Forgot to mention the Kuroneko series, it got really sad in the last book, but it is still ongoing and idk when it will be finished or translated.
