The author is continuing it! I read on the authors blog that due to the long leave of absence they had to take for their health that when they returned to finish the series they realized that the demand for black and white manga has declined since everyone wants colored pages/WEBTOONs. So the author is remaking the series using color. So far the author has redone everything with color up to ch 40 as of June 2024. So hopefully it will be completely caught up and with new chapters by the end of the year.
my god I am praying that the author really does continue with this and that it won’t take another 4 years
